Screen time happens, do something about it with our blue light blocking glasses for computer use! Experts warn that blue rays from electronic devices can cause serious damage to eyes and even screw up your sleep patterns, so we decided to use our unbreakable frames to stop those pesky rays with our Anti-Visual Noise (AVN) blue blocker lenses!
Keep a pair of our glasses for computer use in your office and make it a habit to always wear them in front of a monitor, tablet, smartphone, or under LED lights. Blue blocker lenses reduce strain, headaches and that tired feeling your eyes have when staring at a screen too long. Blocking blue light the hour before bedtime is a critical factor in falling asleep! Trust us, your eyes will thank you!
Our lenses do not have the yellow/orange tint that you'll see with other AVN glasses, so they will not distort your vision.
BLUE LIGHT FAQ
Are all frames made the same, whether for baby, toddler, child, adult, prescription, or blue light blocking glasses? Do they all meet all the same safety standards/claims and at the same levels (i.e. lead free, heavy metal free, bpa free, etc)?
Are your blue light blocking lenses the highest percentage of blue light blocking that’s possible for this type of product?
Do you have testing to show that the blue light blocking glasses work?
YES. Please click here to see our AVN testing document from an independent lab. AVN stands for "anti visual noise" - that is what most eye care professionals call blue light glasses. This testing document shows the percentage of blue light that penetrated ("transmitted") through the lens in testing depending on the wavelength. The most harmful wavelengths of light are below 420nm which our lenses blocked over 80%. Let us know if you would like clarification on how to read the chart.
How do the blue light blocking glasses work since they aren’t tinted?

What type of AVN lens do you use?
The standard AVN lens we use is an impact-resistant polycarbonate material very commonly used in kids eyewear. Our lenses help protect your child's vision by holding up to rough-and-tumble play without cracking or shattering. Many eye care practitioners insist on polycarbonate lenses for children's eyeglasses for safety reasons.
The material is 30% lighter than standard plastic or glass, which makes them more comfortable to wear and less likely to slide down your child's nose. Our lenses also are about 20% thinner than standard plastic or glass lenses, so they are a good choice for anyone who wants slimmer, more attractive lenses. Blue Light Blocking glasses with polycarbonate AVN lenses block over 80% of the most harmful blue light rays (under wavelength 420nm) and also protect your child's eyes from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The polycarbonate material is a natural UV filter, blocking over 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays.
There is also no harsh yellow/orange colored lenses to distort your child's vision. Blue light blocking lenses can also help reduce glare, improve contrast, provide better color perception, and relieve digital eye strain.
